This year we are looking for technology innovations in the following categories; we are looking at both digital and hardware based technologies.

Environment

We are looking for companies that make real money by slashing carbon, methane and other greenhouse gas emissions and fixing the oceans and waterways.

We are looking for technologies that focus on the capture, storage, and scaling adoption of alternative energy.

This ranges from energy storage, to carbon capture, energy efficient technologies and optimization solutions that can be applied to existing fleets to buy more time for us to clean up the environment.

Social Impact

As shipping transitions to a zero carbon future, no one should get left behind. In this category, we are seeking companies with solutions that support workers through the transition with consideration to education, training, re-skilling, and safety.

Which costs are covered?
